Update 8: Version 0.0.1

First 3D model visualisation.

It's been a while since I've updated.

The process today included a couple of sketches of Joy all the way to a 3D visualisation.

joy-concept

Concept:
**Rainbow soap inside dipped in warm white soap. Yes, soap. **

Letterforms should be happy, bouncy, plump (squeezable), be friendly, and reliable

Final design I redrew (spline only) on Illustrator.

And then created this in C4D.

Looked at the constrast of strokes, and z axis of points.

Version 1 of many. There are many things that need to get ironed out in modelling phase – such as overlap. But I'm happy for now to print.

And obviously the overhangs can't actually exist.

Further notes:
• Will need 2 moulds for this word
• Make print ready
• Enquired about soap making classes with Robyn's Soap Classes
• Need a custom webgl viewer, hoping Theun can help a little. :)
• My sketches need to be be neater, especially my handwriting
