Update 5: 'e' IRL

"Adding character into a character."

Apart from doing a little costings-so-far-sheet 🙃, I've also started carving letters from soap.

This is the fun part.

From the last update we saw a sketch of an e.
e

Slowly revealing the shape over a couple of hours, sketch of e:

I'm pretty happy with this so far.

It's really a time to start honing in on the feel of the letter/s - how loose is it? how much flow? what about a little style? Playing with the contrast of the stroke and how each stroke sits on the z-axis and it's current 'pose' and energy. I can keep going.

I've put together a mood board of sorts , which I'll need to print. Have so many references I'd like to look into and so much I need to learn.

This will also help me figure out how I'm going to attack this project (all letters vs single word). And what exactly my brand is *more questions, woo!

I've also started buying soap products from Candle Supply so we can get this letter into something more like what I've envisioned. Also, looked at suppliers who can possibly collaborate with, one being Soap Club.

Further notes:
• Create 2 soaps because we need to test shelf life and user testing!
